How do sync my Salesforce calendar and MS Outlook for Mac (mainly calendar)? Any Macbook Users out there? I'm using Salesforce (obiously) and Outlook for Mac on my MacBook Air. Salesforce for Outlook only allows Salesforce events/Calendar items to be synched to Outlook on Outlook for Windows. Salesforce for Outlook only works on Windows machines. Luckily, there is a Salesforce for Outlook Mac solution on the AppExchange that can solve the email syncing and logging needs of Mac users. This app is called Match My Email. Match My Email adds emails from Outlook for Mac 2011 or MacMail connected to any email provider. One of my team members uses Outlook for Mac and needs to sync to Salesforce. Jan 22, 2015 Today I tried to get printing to work from my mac (running Yosemite) to the printers here at work. The printers are accessed using SMB. I could easily add the printers, but when I tried to print, it would accept my username and password for the printer, but then revert straight back to. What does “Hold for Authentication” mean? Sometimes, when printing from a Mac, the job appears to pause in the print queue window with the message “Hold for Authentication.” This condition means that the user may not be authorized to send a job to this print queue, possibly because they have entered the wrong credentials.
