The goal of Arena Champ is to provide an advanced and transparent draft pick assistant for Blizzard’s Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft arena mode. Ultimately, it should be a useful tool for beginners and experts alike by providing advanced options to customize for individual drafting style.

While still in an early state, the current version of Arena Champ offers plenty of options and features to help make educated draft picks.

Use a fusion of tier lists to compare cards
This provides you with multiple opinions about the value of individual cards. Currently, there are a few popular tier lists to choose from.
Select your mana curve preference
As you build your deck, you may recognize that the deck is leaning towards being more aggressive, midrange, or late game. Arena Champ allows you to change your mana curve preference at any time to encourage future picks to better fit a desired curve.
Define custom rules for detailed control
Do you prefer to have at least two taunt minions? Do you like to draft at least four 2 cost minions for a more consistent early game? These types of rules can easily be defined, changed, and removed at any time during your draft so Arena Champ can better compare cards based on your preferences.

Currently, Arena Champ is being developed by a single person in his spare time. As a result, there can’t be any promises made about the order these features may be added or if they will even make it to development. However, they still wait patiently in this list, hoping to one day make Arena Champ one step closer to being the ultimate Hearthstone drafting assistant.

  • Saving arena drafts, favorite tier lists, and custom rule sets. Create a user account to save your draft and complete it later. Save your custom rules so you can use them whenever you start a new draft without having to enter them manually.
  • Custom Tier Lists. Over time and with practice, many arena players naturally develop their own opinions about the value of certain cards. Arena Champ would be able to provide an intuitive interface for creating an online tier list for use in your draft assistant.
  • Share tier lists with the community. Set your custom tier list to public so that other users can view, use, and rate it. Updating your public custom tier lists would also update them for anyone else using them. Search for popular tier lists and use them in your own draft assistant.
  • Card combos and class combos. Add built-in rules to encourage the selection of cards that work well with other cards in your deck and with your class. For example, Frostwolf Warlord may be valued higher in a Paladin deck than it would be in Rogue deck. Blood Knight may be valued higher in a deck with a couple of Argent Squires. Where these rules come from and how they are compiled is TBD.
